❤ FREE Teacher Valentine Printable ❤
I wanted to give Lucas’ daycare teachers something for Valentine’s Day this year and since they probably did not want the apple sauce pouches I gave the kids, I decided to make them a really quick white chocolate snack mix. I sprinkled it with heart sprinkles to really drive in the Valentine’s Day spirit!
I received so many compliments on this snack mix and no one could believe how truly easy it was to make! With only four ingredients it is a very simple treat to whip up anytime and you can customize it to any holiday or occasion by simply swapping the sprinkles.
How to make White Chocolate Snack Mix
For the mix it was only 4 ingredients:
- 12-ounce Box Corn Chex
- 8-ounces Pretzel Sticks
- 24-ounces White Almond Bark
- Sprinkles (Optional)
Just mix together the corn Chex and pretzel sticks in a large bowl. Then melt the white almond bark in the microwave. They usually have instructions on the package for how long.
Drizzle the melted almond bark over the Chex and pretzels and stir gently so you don’t crush the Chex. This might take a little while to get everything coated evenly.
Once it is all mixed, lay it on a piece or parchment paper. This is when I sprinkled the top with the Valentine’s sprinkles I found at Wal-Mart. Then let it cool and harden. Break it into pieces once its cool.
I packaged them in snack size baggies and taped the Valentine below to the baggie. It’s easiest if you attach the note to the baggie before filling it with the treats. I attached a free printable so you can use it too! You’ll only need to write your child’s name on it and you’re done!
The daycare teachers loved it and it was so easy to make!
Happy Valentine’s Day! ♥
